What Happens When Deaf People go to Movies

This is truly something I never thought about before watching this video. In the video, two deaf people decide to go to a movie theater to show what it is like for them. The process is very difficult. They have to be given a tiny machine that the staff couldn't figure out how to set up and caused them to be late for the movie. The device takes up a large portion of the screen when trying to read the subtitles and watch, and it doesn't sit up in the cup holder. The staff also ended up connecting the device to the wrong movie, so the two men were reading the wrong movie for a period of time. I think this issue should be brought to light for a larger audience. I believe with the technology we have today, creating a more functional device should not be hard and it would make a big impact in the deaf community.
